Just Finished Reading: Typhoon by Joseph Conrad

A short one of less than 70 pages, this tale of a ship which sails into a typhoon on its way to a Chinese port. The drama and the imagery are, in my mind top notch, and Conrad’s prose mesmerises at the worst of times, and characters which are as likely to be real as they are fictional. By no means a Contadian classic, but without doubt a rolling and nerve wracking adventure at see with a little bit of everything in it.

This probably one of the better ways to eat samgyupsal on a Saturday afternoon.
